Why SpielPasswords
Our fantastic Apple devices come with a great built-in password manager, so why SpielPasswords? I have many roles in life---home life, physics life, and now SpielSoft coder---all of which have different accounts on my Apple devices. Apple's keychain does not support one individual having several Apple IDs and different logins; SpielPasswords does. I have several password files in a single shared location that can be reached by all of my devices and accounts giving instant access to my passwords anywhere and in any role.
Using SpielPasswords
Search records, copy credentials, and group multiple logins under one account. Keep separate databases for different purposes, for example personal and work use.
On Mac, open databases in separate windows, copy records between them, and unlock with Touch ID.
Your database
Save your encrypted database locally, in iCloud Drive, or in another synced folder. Your records are yours and can be exported as unencrypted JSON any time.
Security reports
Report suspected vulnerabilities privately through GitHub’s security reporting. Do not include real passwords or database files.
