SpielWorkouts Privacy Policy
Last revised: October 14, 2026
SpielWorkouts stores your workouts in a Google Sheet you control. It has no SpielSoft account system, workout-data server, advertising, or analytics.
What the app accesses
When you connect Google, the app uses your name, email address, and optional profile photo to show which account is connected, file metadata (including names, owners, and modification times) to help you find spreadsheets, and spreadsheet contents to display and record your workouts.
Google grants access to spreadsheet contents and Drive file metadata more broadly than the workbook you select in the app. SpielWorkouts uses that access for finding, creating, and working with your workout Sheets.
Where information goes
The app communicates directly with Google. Your workout record stays in your Sheet. Your device also remembers your selected Sheet, connected account, and recent workout choices. Sign-in credentials are handled by Google Sign-In and the platform’s credential storage.
SpielSoft does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to a SpielSoft server. Its use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google handles data under its own privacy policy.
If you buy through the App Store, Apple handles payment and purchase records. SpielWorkouts does not receive your payment-card details.
Your controls
You can edit, export, share, or delete your Sheet in Google Drive or Sheets. Signing out clears the app’s saved workspace selection; it does not delete the Sheet or revoke the Google permission grant. You can revoke access separately in your Google Account.
Deleting the app does not delete your Sheet. Copies and backups remain subject to the controls of the services where you keep them.
Privacy questions
For privacy questions or access requests, contact support@spielsoft.com. Do not post credentials or private workout data in public GitHub issues.
Changes to this policy will appear here with a revised date.
